Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an ironworker for Four Horizons Wind Project in Seymour, TX. You will mark, position, and secure structural steel to reinforce concrete and building structures, coordinating with crane operations and site crews.

Responsibilities include inspection of rigging, handling rebar, tying intersections, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and related construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, and direct crane operations and rigging.
• Check in deliveries and assist unloading with forklift/crane.
• Count rebar, wire mesh, and related materials; tie intersections and splice rebar.
• Install and secure reinforcing bars; read blueprints for dimensions and locations.
• Assist with erecting and aligning tower components; follow safety procedures.
