Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure across North America. The Field Engineer–Wind MCE role supports growth in the Wind MCE business unit, developing new partnerships and servicing customers nationwide with a focus on repairs and safety, while traveling up to 75% of the time.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years of direct wind turbine experience, strong schematic reading skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years direct product experience on wind turbine platforms.
• Ability to read schematics from various Wind Turbine manufacturers.
• Proficient with SCADA and monitoring tools for WTG.
• Strong emphasis on safety and quality.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field work onsite focusing on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Support lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250'.
• Coach team on rigging applications and inspections.
• Perform safe repairs to wind turbine electrical systems.
• Read and interpret turbine schematics.
• Identify major faults and propose corrective actions with engineering.
• Travel up to 75%.
