Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Technician Associate to support operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms, ensuring safety and peak availability.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems, and participate in safety exercises. The role requires teamwork, relocation within commuting distance of the site, and a commitment to the company's safety culture.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Two-year or four-year technical degree in science/engineering preferred.
• Relevant electrician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner.
• Assist in acceptance and performance tests after maintenance or outages.
• Provide back-up support at other sites as needed.
• Assist turbine maintenance including services and troubleshooting.
• Support Balance of Plant procedures and substation maintenance.
• Adhere to company values and behaviors.
