Job summary

AVANGRID seeks a Wind Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day wind farm operations in Trimont, MN. You will manage the O&M staff, budgeting, outages, and compliance with safety programs while coordinating with interconnect and trading desks to optimize performance.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience, plus strong computer and maintenance skills. A valid driver’s license and ability to climb turbines are essential.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or technical cert; or 5 years related experience in power/energy.
• Proven plant operations and maintenance experience required.
• Ability to climb tall wind turbines and work in adverse weather.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day wind plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Develop and monitor operating budget and cost controls.
• Coordinate outages with interconnect, trading desk, and crews.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental programs.
