Job summary

Invenergy seeks an Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee Balance of Plant at the Alle-Catt Energy Center in Farmersville Station, NY. You will manage daily operations, safety, maintenance procedures, and staffing to meet performance targets.

Responsibilities include budgeting, coordinating with customers and suppliers, procuring parts, enforcing regulatory compliance, and mentoring technicians. A safety‑sensitive role with competitive pay and benefits offered by Invenergy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree is preferred.
• Experience supervising staff in a manufacturing or power facility is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and plant operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day operation of the facility in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
• Prepare and implement plant operating and maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
• Recruit, select, train and manage plant operating, maintenance and administrative staff.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and periodic status reports.
• Interface and coordinate with local customers and suppliers.
• Procure parts, materials, services and support resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all project safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities.
• Provide a high level of professionalism and technical expertise.
• Perform routine Quality Assurance checks of technician work.
• Assist technicians from time to time in various aspects of maintenance.
