Mortenson Construction is seeking a carpenter for the Plum Creek Wind Project in Walnut Grove, MN. You will perform construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in accordance with local codes and general construction principles.

You will set up trailers, study blueprints, build decks and roofs, hand-set forms, shoot grades and elevations, and work with prefab materials while maintaining safety and teamwork across diverse crews.

Responsabilidades

• Set up trailers.
• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements and measure dimensions.
• Build decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, install shelves, set up tool trailers/conex's, silt fences/straw bales, and site per erosion control plan.
• Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms.
• Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations.
• Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials.
• Concrete and rough carpentry: hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, drywall, finish carpentry (doors, frames, hardware), millwork, cabinetry.
• Work effectively and build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a carpenter that will be responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principals.

RESPONSESIBLITIES

• Set up trailers

• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements and measure dimensions

• Build decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, install shelves, set up tool trailers/conex's, silt fences/straw bales, and site per erosion control plan

• Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms

• Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations

• Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials

The base pay range for this roleis $20.00 - $57.00 per hour.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
