Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Power Generation Engineering Leader for Wind Blades and Structures to provide strategic leadership and technical oversight over blades, nacelles, towers, weldments and foundations across wind assets. The role drives operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration to advance wind portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering, 6+ years in power generation or data analytics, wind industry experience, and Lean/Six Sigma certification;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering.
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience in power generation, asset reliability, or data analytics.
• Direct experience in the wind industry, with knowledge on wind blade design and/or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into action.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team to troubleshoot/restore wind turbines and perform root cause analysis.
• Scope budgeting process, business case generation and submission.
• Report fleet performance and team initiatives to executive leadership.
• Navigate cross-functional stakeholders to achieve key business outcomes.
