Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources in Florida seeks an engineering leader to direct wind blades and structures programs, drive reliability, and champion innovation across blades, towers, nacelles, foundations, and weldments. Lead a cross-functional team, manage budgets, and report fleet performance to executives.

Partner with wind turbine OEMs to improve portfolio performance. Requires a BS in engineering with 6+ years in power generation and Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience in power generation, asset reliability, or data analytics
• Direct wind industry experience with knowledge of blade design/manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into action
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentation experience
• Experience with predictive analytics platforms, drone assessment, job plan development, and project management
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team to troubleshoot/restore wind turbines and drive root cause analysis with action plans.
• Report fleet performance and team initiatives to executive leadership.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, supply chain, and OEMs to improve wind portfolio performance.
• Prioritize ad-hoc tasks, manage changing business needs, and navigate cross-functional stakeholders.
