Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, seeks a Reliability Engineer to join the Wind Reliability team within the Power Generation Division. The role focuses on improving wind turbine reliability, implementing RCM, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in reliability engineering, data analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration, with the ability to lead complex initiatives and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program or PE licensure in lieu of ABET degree.
• 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Conduct root cause analyses of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment data and build statistical models to predict failures and optimize maintenance.
• Provide technical support to cross‑functional teams on reliability and maintenance issues.
