GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Engineer, Blades Fleet Engineering, to support fleet performance management and RCA for wind turbine blades. You will analyze blade data and assist in resolving field issues under senior guidance, contributing to learning loops that improve reliability across the global blade fleet.

The role emphasizes data monitoring, technical documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. Travel up to 10% and Greenville, SC work location are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar).
• Willingness to travel globally (mostly US) ~10%.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• 1 year of wind turbine engineering or related experience.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL/Tableau/PowerBI is desired.

Responsibilities

• RCA Support & Execution: assist data collection and validate corrective actions.
• Fleet Data Monitoring: track blade fleet performance and identify trends.
• Data Analysis: analyze historical failure data and support modeling.
• Reporting & Dashboards: maintain visual dashboards for KPIs.
• Proactive Support: collaborate to characterize emerging issues.
• Technical Documentation: draft RCA reports and related docs.
• Action Plan: track issues and coordinate milestones.
• Tool Utilization: apply 5Why, Fishbone, and related methods.
