Job summary

Orion Group is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to lead the commercial management of a portfolio of utility-scale wind projects across North America. You will oversee operational performance, budgeting, forecasting and key project agreements to maximise asset value and EBITDA.

The role requires strong financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration across operations, engineering, finance and external partners, and a data-driven approach to asset optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field.
• At least five years of renewable energy asset-management experience.
• Experience with operating utility-scale wind assets.
• Strong financial and commercial capability (budgets, forecasts, variance analysis).
• Experience in North American power markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day commercial management of a portfolio of wind assets.
• Monitor KPIs for availability, generation, revenue, and EBITDA.
• Develop annual operating budgets and long-term plans.
• Oversee O&M, turbine supply, PPAs, interconnection and landowner leases.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve performance issues.
• Support reporting to lenders, investors, and management.
• Drive asset-lifecycle improvements and major maintenance decisions.
