Job summary

Olin Corporation is hiring for a Shotshell Loading Routing Material position in East Alton, IL. The role is hourly paid at $24.37 per hour with a straight midnight shift (S/3).

You will load and move materials for Shotshell production, monitor machines, and perform hopper changes and material transfers using cranes and carts. The job requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work weekends or overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience using an overhead crane, 4-wheel cart or dolly preferred.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and forced overtime.

Location: East Alton, IL

Salary: $24.37/hour

Schedule: Straight Midnight Shift (S/3)

Routing Material Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for the movement and loading of materials used in the production of Shotshells.
• Monitors multiple machines.
• Changes over hoppers.
• Clears wad tracks or air lines, lifts boxes of wads into hoppers, and scoops bullets into a hopper or elevator balcony.
• Utilizes a vacuum lift, overhead crane, 4-wheel cart, or dolly to transport barrels and dump material.
• Uses a handheld scanner.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.

Routing Material Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience using an overhead crane, 4-wheel cart, or dolly preferred.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and forced overtime.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
