Job summary

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a IT/pharmacy IT professional to design, build, implement, and support the Epic Willow Ambulatory application for retail and outpatient pharmacy operations.

The role partners with Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Leadership, Revenue Cycle, and IT to optimize medication workflows, perform maintenance, testing, and upgrade readiness, and ensure accurate workflows across Willow Ambulatory and external vendor platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and support Epic Willow Ambulatory application for retail and outpatient pharmacy operations.
• Partner with Retail Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Leadership, Revenue Cycle, and IT teams for efficient medication workflows.
• Support retail pharmacy workflows including prescription processing, dispensing, charging, inventory, and point‐of‐sale integrations.
• Maintain system stability, turnaround time, and operational accuracy to enhance patient experience and pharmacy throughput.
• Analyze retail pharmacy workflows and translate operational needs into Epic configuration.
• Perform routine system maintenance, resolve incidents, and implement application enhancements.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and support new store openings and operational initiatives.
• Participate in integrated testing, retail workflow validation, and upgrade readiness activities.
• Support workflows integrating Willow Ambulatory with third‐party systems and external vendor platforms.
• Collaborate with the Willow Inpatient team for shared medication records and enterprise build alignment.
• Manage assigned tasks and small‐to‐medium retail pharmacy initiatives.
• Create and maintain build documentation, workflow descriptions, and support materials.
