Palmer Food Service in Rochester, NY is seeking a Will Call Team Lead (Customer Service) for a full-time, on-site role. You will select and stage orders for pickup and coordinate with sales to ensure timely, accurate dispatch.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED; basic reading, writing and math; warehouse software knowledge; customer service or clerical experience; ability to work in a cold environment and lift up to 50–100 lbs.

• Prepare and print stickers and picklists for Will Call team.
• Coordinate with sales and other departments regarding orders and delays.
• Collect payment from customers and manage cash drawer.
• Perform all duties assigned to Will Call associates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Select and assemble orders and stage efficiently
• Manage operational projects to improve efficiency and quality of wholesale pick-up orders.
• Hold daily huddles to establish workflow and expectations.
• Run unconfirmed order lists to view orders for the following day.
• Manage and prepare routes for daily orders
• Prepare and print item stickers and picklists for Will Call team.
• Select orders and properly stage them according to customer pick-up times.
• Constantly communicate with the sales team and other departments regarding customer orders, issues, delays, and any other event that may take place.
• Collect payment from customers and manage cash drawer.
• Perform all duties assigned to Will Call associates.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• Computer knowledge with ability to adapt to warehouse software program
• Customer service or general clerical office experience
• Comfortable with machinery reaching heights of 25 ft.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform duties in freezer and coolers
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast paced work environment

$22.00- $25.00/ hour

Shift: (Subject to change)

Monday- 7:30 AM- 4 PM

Tuesday- 7:30 AM- 4 PM

Thursday- 7:30 AM- 4 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Saturday: 6:30 AM- Noon

Sunday: OFF

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse equipment.
• Must be able to use hands to handle, feel, finger; reach with hands and arms, see, talk and hear.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, frequently lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10 · Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
• Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
• Must be able to read and comprehend work related materials, numerical data and diagrams.
