  • Consistency across daily operations by coordinating staff, reservations, scheduled activities, and changing priorities so guests, associates, and animals receive the attention they need
  • A culture of animal welfare grounded in attentive husbandry, established care standards, direct participation in animal care, and continued support for training and enrichment
  • Safe, welcoming environments through oversight of back‑of‑house standards, maintenance priorities, special projects, and facilities that support high‑quality guest and animal experiences
  • Group programs that feel seamless and intentional by partnering with the wildlife manager and team to align guest expectations, team execution, animal care, and operational details
  • Operational readiness through thoughtful anticipation of supply needs, inventory management, ordering, and resource coordination
  • A visible standard of leadership by working alongside the team, participating in daily operations, and reinforcing professional accountability through example
What You Can Expect

  • Opportunities to strengthen leadership, animal care, program development, and hospitality expertise through direct involvement in a distinctive resort operation
What You Bring

  • A confident, encouraging leadership presence that helps associates grow while maintaining clear expectations and consistent standards
  • A warm, engaging communication style that helps guests feel informed, comfortable, and connected to the experience
  • The composure and judgment to remain focused, professional, and solutions‑oriented when priorities shift or challenges arise
  • Strong organization and follow‑through when coordinating people, schedules, reservations, supplies, and operational details
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside the team in hands‑on animal care and daily operations

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team‑lead experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required licenses, certifications, or animal‑care credentials associated with assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and special events as operational needs require
