Job summary

The University of Georgia's Savannah River Ecology Lab invites applications for a Research Tech-Life Science II to assist with evaluating wild pig management strategies and field testing lures. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
• B.S. in wildlife ecology or a closely related field is required, along with at least 1 year of professional experience or a M.S. in wildlife research or management

Responsibilities

• Field duties include collecting and processing data evaluating wild pig attractants
• Operating remote camera arrays for population estimates
• Assisting with FLIR-guided aerial operations and data collection
• Guiding and instructing other research technicians in day-to-day activities
• Video/image processing and GPS collar attachment for studying movement ecology
