Job summary

The Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire Prevention and Control, seeks a Module Crewmember to support wildland fire suppression and related safety missions. As FFT2-qualified personnel, you will work in field assignments across Colorado, performing fireline construction, suppression tasks, and incident support with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Qualification to NWCG standards as a Firefighter Type 2 (FFT2).
• Two or more years of wildland fire, fire service, fuels management or related experience.
• NWCG qualifications such as FFT1, FAL3, ICT5, HECM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fire suppression and incident response duties as part of a module crew.
• Support mitigation, fuels treatment, and resource management projects.
• Assist with training, qualification, dispatch systems, and other preparedness activities.
