Responsibilities

• Responds to wildland fire alarms and emergency calls to protect life and property.
• Operates hand tools and chainsaws to create fire lines and control fires.
• Maintains equipment, hydrants, nozzles, and pumps; conducts safety briefings.
• Collaborates with crew leaders, dispatchers, and other agencies.
• Participates in training, drills, and community education activities.
