Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wildland fire suppression tactics.
• Certified NWCG Firefighter Type 1.
• Strong leadership and field operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hand crew in initial attack, suppression, mop-up, and rehab activities.
• Provide direct Fireline supervision and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Coordinate training, readiness, and pre-suppression planning with other program staff.
• Assist with incident reports and firefighting operations as needed.
