Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience as a Fire Equipment Specialist or operating heavy equipment/trucks to load/unload/haul cargo.
• Resume must be included to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review lists, reports and donated property to determine use and desirability; prepare procurement documents and verify availability.
• Inspect and operate equipment before accepting and loading property; transport equipment as needed.
• Provide technical assistance and information to recipients on procurement procedures and property classifications.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding donated property programs and support fire suppression activities.
