Job summary

Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) in Ontario, Oregon, invites applications for a six‑month, full‑time Wildland Fire Program Lead. The role focuses on developing TVCC’s Wildland Fire curriculum, expanding partnerships, and growing enrollment through dual credit and outreach to high schools and regional partners.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Wildland Fire or related field plus three years of related work experience.
• Qualified Single Resource Boss/FFTI and Firefighter Type 1.
• Willingness to conduct field trips and field days.

Responsibilities

• Expand and market TVCC’s Wildland Fire program.
• Recruit high school students and other populations to meet enrollment targets.
• Network with NWCG-related agencies and universities to provide transfer options.
• Establish and grow an annual Fire Academy in coordination with local agencies.
