Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote wildfire suppression planning to protect state resources.
• Respond in emergencies as an initial attack incident commander or in other IC roles.
• Serve landowners with forestry assistance (reforestation, forest health, prescribed burning).
• Provide forestry education through interactions with partners, schools and organizations (Tree Farm, NWF, FFA, 4-H).
• Assist the District Forester with development, management and budgeting for the work unit.
