Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate mechanical engineering courses aligned with professional interests.
• Conduct and publish research in wildfire science; attract and manage grants.
• Collaborate with SJSU Wildfire Interdisciplinary Research Center to pursue funding and projects.
• Participate in department, college, and university service and governance.
• Organize classes within the Canvas LMS and support inclusive teaching for a diverse student body.
