Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering and other areas aligned with expertise.
• Conduct research in wildfire science; publish in peer‑reviewed journals; seek grants and supervise students.
• Collaborate with SJSU WIRC to pursue funding and research related to wildfire science and management.
• Participate in shared governance and service activities; manage course preparation and assessment.
