Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to work in their substance abuse recovery program in Asheville, North Carolina. You will be part of an integrative treatment team, facilitating therapeutic activities and leading clients in outdoor adventures. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to work 7.5 days on followed by 6.5 days off. Employee benefits include medical insurance, training opportunities, and on-site gym access.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work 7 ½ consecutive days on shift followed by 6 ½ days off.
• Experience in behavioral health or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an integrative treatment team implementing compassionate clinical care.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions, process groups, mindfulness sessions and educational groups.
• Help clients navigate an interactive schedule which includes education, sports, meditation, yoga and adventure activities.
• Lead clients on overnight adventure activities (hiking, camping, canoeing).
• Provide a high level of physical and emotional safety to our clients.
