Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking a passionate Behavioral Health Technician to work in a dynamic substance abuse recovery program. This role focuses on aiding young adults through their recovery journey while beingpart of a supportive treatment team. The position requires commitment to 7.5-day shifts, where you'll facilitate therapeutic interventions and lead adventurous outings. Qualifications

• Must be willing to work 7.5 consecutive days on shift followed by 6.5 days off.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an integrative treatment team implementing compassionate clinical care.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions, process groups, mindfulness sessions, and educational groups.
• Help clients navigate an interactive schedule including education, sports, meditation, yoga, and adventure activities.
• Lead clients on overnight adventure activities (hiking, camping, canoeing).
• Provide a high level of physical and emotional safety to our clients.

Behavioral Health Technicians teach a wide variety of coping strategies and emotional regulation skills to our clients, empower clients to take responsibility for their actions, promote and encourage clients to make healthy decisions and positively motivate clients by modeling healthy behavior.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an integrative treatment team implementing compassionate clinical care

• Lead clients on overnight adventure activities (hiking, camping, canoeing)

Scheduling

• BHT work onsite 7.5 days on and 6.5 days off. They provide direct support for our clients throughout the day and into the evenings.
• Staff are provided with meals during their scheduled shifts as well as staff living quarters for the purpose of leisure time and sleeping arrangements
• BHT remain onsite during their scheduled 7.5-day shift
