Positions will process wild turkey gobbling data to determine whether selections identified by machine learning tools are gobbles or other sounds. Positions will also assist with processing images of wild turkeys for ongoing analyses.
Processing of wild turkey gobbling data – 80% of time.
Processing of wild turkey images – 20% of time.
Will be assigned tasks related to downloading auditory files, completing validation of calls using provided software, and emailing completed files back to staff.
Preferred education: wildlife ecology, biology, or similar field.
Willingness to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
Computer work.
