Job summary

Apple Inc. in San Diego seeks a WiFi Software Systems Analysis Engineer to join the Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems team. The role focuses on analyzing WiFi/BT performance, evaluating system behavior, and driving architectural improvements across Apple product lines.

You will work with platform architecture, firmware/host development, and QA teams to bring concepts to commercialization, including development of advanced debugging capabilities for iPhone, iPad, and Mac experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
In-depth understanding and strong hands-on experience on 802.11 MAC/PHY protocols, WiFi standards (WiFi-7) & systems debugging

Responsibilities

Analyze WiFi/BT functional and performance issues and drive architectural improvements for future Apple product lines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with platform architecture, firmware/host development, system test and QA teams to propagate design proposals from concept to commercialization.
Develop advanced system evaluation and debugging capabilities as needed.
