Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino seeks a hands-on Wireless Performance Engineer to advance antenna, RF algorithms, and system level design.

You will perform cellular, WiFi, and GNSS performance testing and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in end-user experience. The role requires a Master's in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering, strong knowledge of wireless tech, and test automation experience (Python).

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of cellular, WiFi or GNSS technologies.
• Test automation experience. Python preferred and fluency with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Cellular, WiFi and GNSS performance testing and analysis.
• Antenna performance characterization: TRP, TIS, Efficiency, SAR.
• System performance characterization: Throughput testing, application specific wireless performance testing, optimizing wireless algorithms and user impact assessment.
• Collaborating closely with product teams and other stake holders to drive performance enhancements.
