Apple Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Core Wi‑Fi Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize the Wi‑Fi networking subsystem across Apple products.

You will work across frameworks, APIs, UI, OS services, and drivers with hardware teams to deliver features from ideation to testing. You will balance usability, performance and efficiency while solving complex networking challenges on embedded targets.

Qualifications

• Data structures knowledge and applications.
• Experience with C/C++, Objective-C or Java.
• Strong Layer 2/3 networking and QoS experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the Wi-Fi networking subsystem across Apple products.
• Collaborate across stacks (Frameworks, API, UI, OS services, drivers) and hardware teams.
• Own full software development cycle from ideation to testing and measurement.
