Job summary

Airtower Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Engineering Team to design, deploy, and optimize complex in-building wireless and wired networks for commercial properties and enterprises.

You will create BOMs, review SOWs, configure WLAN/LAN gear, and work with field teams to ensure deployment meets performance and security standards.

This role offers hands-on project involvement, remote and onsite support, and opportunities to engage with industry conferences and clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Ekahau or similar tool surveying and remediation experience.
• Two+ years of direct field work experience in commercial WiFi or wired LAN networks.
• Experience with network design tools, BOM creation tools, and network documentation tools.
• Proficiency in reviewing CAD drawings and other design documentation.
• Routing and switching protocols and implementation experience.
• Practical WLAN and LAN deployment experience with Aruba, Ruckus, or Cisco.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CWNP, or vendor-specific certs.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and review design BOMs and SOWs for WiFi and other networks.
• Create, standardize, and review network deployment design documentation.
• Plan and engineer the configuration of APs, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Work with field teams for integration of network design.
• Provide technical support for construction and deployment teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Provide support for network management, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, monitoring, testing, break/fix, network maintenance, close-out activities, and documentation for newly deployed and existing WiFi networks.
• Attend virtual and onsite industry conferences as technical liaison for engineering team.
• Attend onsite client meetings acting as an SME for engineering team.
