Job summary

Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level I to provide technical support for Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) operations supporting the Skywalker program. The WIDS Specialist Level I, under senior WIDS personnel, assists in administering the Bastille WIDS platform and M&R activities while ensuring compliance with DoD/IC requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring, threat analysis, incident reporting, and coordinating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Baseline knowledge of RF theory and wireless protocols.
• Familiarity with wireless security monitoring or TSCM concepts.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn WIDS technologies, monitoring procedures, and security policies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day WIDS operations using the Bastille platform.
• Monitor wireless environments and assist in identifying unauthorized RF activity.
• Assist with M&R activities and incident reporting.
• Operate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment under the guidance of senior personnel.
• Maintain operational documentation, logs, and reporting records.
• Coordinate with WIDS Specialists and engineering teams to support system operations.
• Follow established operating procedures and security requirements.
• Support system deployments, testing, and operational readiness activities.
