Job summary

GSP Companies in Provo, UT is seeking a Digital Press Operator to operate and set up at least two wide-format digital press types to industry standards. You will confirm work order details, make standard adjustments, and ensure quality and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean press area, using color matching tools, cross-training in another department, and completing daily documentation. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large format printers or press equipment.
• Ability to read work orders and adjust settings to specs.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime when required.
• Adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up a minimum of two wide-format digital press types to industry standards.
• Confirm work order details and adjust presses to uphold quality specs.
• Meet or exceed print efficiency goals; oversee the print assistant and QCI.
• Follow workflows, maintain a clean press and press area.
• Use PMS color matching and a densitometer to gauge colors.
• Cross-train in another department and support adjacent teams.
• Complete daily and weekly documentation accurately.
