Job summary

Braum's Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Route Maintenance Technician to perform facilities and equipment maintenance across store operations. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and basic building repairs, execute minor projects, and support other maintenance technicians.

The position requires at least 1 year of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work evenings or weekends. A valid driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have good driving record
• Self-motivated, driven, honest, and dependable
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work at high elevations
• Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Electrical repair: lamp changing, ballast replacement, receptacle and light switch replacement
• Plumbing repair: faucet and hand sprayer, urinal and toilet flush valves, above-ground drain lines, filter changes
• HVAC: filter changes, ventahood belt changes, basic understanding of commercial equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Mechanical: minor switch and element replacement
• Basic building repair: painting, wall repair, floor repair, minor carpentry
• This position is flexible in scheduling to meet store objectives
• Performs other duties as required
