Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Site Supervisor for the WIC Program at the MMG site in Bronx, NY. The role oversees daily operations, manages staff schedules, and ensures compliance with USDA, NYSDOH, and MMG guidelines to optimize service delivery and client satisfaction.

The candidate will lead WIC staff, provide coaching, and maintain strict confidentiality and patient safety standards in a grant-funded environment. Bachelor’s degree required and a Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for the WIC Site Supervisor role.
• Oversee day-to-day WIC site operations in compliance with USDA/NYSDOH/MMG.
• Lead staff, manage schedules, and ensure client confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the WIC Site in accordance with USDA, NYSDOH and MMG policies.
• Supervises the WIC staff at the agency's site.
• Reports directly to the WIC Program Coordinator/Director.
• Applies USDA, NYSDOH, and MMG rules and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to confidentiality and patient safety per HIPAA, USDA, NYSDOH and MMG.
• Ensure WIC staff adhere to safety, health code and dress code rules.
• Responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement of the WIC site.
• Adheres to WIC Local Agency Compliance and Self-Assessment as required by NYSDOH.
• Implements, supervises, and updates site policies and provides training to newly hired staff.
• Complete at least 24 hours of continuing education every three years.
