Job summary

Anne Arundel County Department of Health seeks a WIC program assistant to interview clients for eligibility and provide nutrition information under supervision. This full-time County Contractual role is based in Annapolis, MD with hours 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and travel as needed across the county.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and one year of health or human service experience; Spanish language ability is preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews for WIC eligibility and perform certifications per regulations.
• Provide WIC health and nutrition information to participants.
• Perform health screenings (height, weight, hemoglobin).
• Travel to county locations as needed.
