Job summary

Florida Department of Health is seeking a PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONIST SUPERVISOR to oversee WIC nutrition services, staff supervision, and program compliance in Tallahassee. You will provide nutrition counseling, lead group classes, and coordinate referrals with health and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutritional science, community nutrition, clinical nutrition, or dietetics.
• Current Florida Dietitian or Nutritionist license in good standing.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nutrition staff across all clinic locations and provide guidance.
• Certify and provide nutrition assessments and counseling for WIC participants.
• Conduct group nutrition classes, breastfeeding support, and referrals.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate public health nutrition programs and ensure compliance.
• Travel as required.
