Florida Department of Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Senior Public Health Nutritionist to administer WIC nutrition services, conduct assessments, and provide tailored nutrition education using FL-WiSE and VENA methods.

The position requires licensure as a dietitian or nutritionist in Florida, with at least one year of customer service experience and strong data-entry skills. Travel is limited to clinic sites as needed, with a focus on delivering quality care to WIC participants.

Competenze

• Minimum – 1 year experience with customer service, multi-line phone experience and electronic medical records & instructing clients in nutrition, dietary plans and food selection/preparation.

Mansioni

• Counsel WIC clients and conduct nutrition assessments using FL-WiSE screens and VENA skills.
• Provide nutrition education and develop nutrition care plans for high-risk clients.
• Input data in FL-WiSE and maintain accurate documentation of visits and goals.
