Florida Department of Health in Delray Beach is seeking a Nutrition Educator to provide maternal and child health nutrition care, perform WIC certifications, and educate clients. The role involves coordinating with health center staff, maintaining records, and traveling across Palm Beach County.

This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities to support community nutrition programs. Required are degrees in Dietetics/Nutrition and strong counseling, customer service, and organizational

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field.
Ability to learn Windows software and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

Complies with state requirements for prompt payment of special formula.
Provides nutritional care and education for maternal and child health; assesses status.
Reviews medical records and performs WIC certifications.
Provides individual and group nutrition counseling for WIC clients.
Coordinates client nutrition education with health center staff.
Maintains records and prepares reports.
Travel throughout Palm Beach County is required.
Full-time, in-office position; provides coverage as staff relief.
