Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital is seeking WIC program staff to perform a variety of professional duties supporting Women, Infants, and Children participants under supervision. The team applies NYSDOH NYWIC policies, HIPAA confidentiality, and hospital standards across multiple sites.

Staff are trained in NYWIC computer systems, develop nutrition education materials, and contribute to breastfeeding promotion and support plans. Travel to all 3 sites is required.

Qualifications

• BS required and credentialed in relevant health field.
• Knowledge of NYSDOH NYWIC policies and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Ability to travel between sites and coordinate education programs.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day breastfeeding and nutrition services across 3 sites.
• Provide counseling to participants and schedule breastfeeding classes.
• Screen and certify WIC applicants using NYSDOH guidelines.
• Develop nutrition education materials and participate in QA processes.
