Mariani Packing Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance/Accounting team in a hybrid remote role based in Vacaville, CA. You will own lease and fixed asset accounting under ASC 842, manage close processes Coast-to-Coast, and drive process improvements with NetSuite optimization.

Required: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives within a family-owned global business.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Senior Accountant, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the Company’s lease accounting, fixed asset accounting and management, and Coast to Coast accounting activities.

• Analyze: Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and financial results.
• Manage: Fixed asset accounting, lease accounting under ASC 842, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities, and financial reporting for Coast-to-Coast Farming.
• Lead: Coordinate internal and external audit activities, maintain effective internal controls, and ensure accounting processes comply with established requirements.
• Innovate: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of accounting and financial reporting, while supporting and optimizing NetSuite functionality.
