Job summary

Mariani Packing Company seeks a Senior Accountant in Wisconsin Rapids to join our Finance/Accounting team. You will own lease and fixed asset accounting under ASC 842, oversee Coast-to-Coast reporting, and play a key role in month-end close.

This role emphasizes process improvement, cross-functional partnership, and accurate financial reporting across ERP systems, including NetSuite. Hybrid remote schedule and competitive benefits support your growth as you help sustain our plant-based future.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Ability to lead process improvements and cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for lease accounting, fixed asset accounting and Coast to Coast accounting activities.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and results.
• Manage fixed asset and lease accounting under ASC 842; oversee month-end/quarter-end/year-end closes.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and maintain internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of reporting, while supporting NetSuite functionality.
