Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a skilled WiFi test engineer to validate features across customer premise equipment including gateways, routers, and extenders. You will perform exploratory testing, verify SSID management, WPA2/WPA3 security, roaming, mesh behavior, and interference handling, and analyze logs to reproduce complex customer-reported issues.

You’ll collaborate with developers and product teams to share findings and suggest test ideas based on system design.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of WiFi fundamentals and standards.
• Experience testing broadband gateways, routers and mesh/extenders.
• Hands-on testing with Linux-based embedded systems.
• Familiarity with iPerf, Wireshark, tcpdump and network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory testing of WiFi features across CPE devices.
• Validate SSID creation, management, security modes and roaming.
• Analyze logs, captures, and traces to triage issues.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams.
• Log high-quality defects with reproduction steps.
