Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center is seeking personnel to audit various distribution functions and perform physical inventory counts at our Shelbyville, IN site. You will demonstrate the company values while supporting accurate inventory and safe operations.

Responsibilities include auditing trailers, order fillers, shipping, receiving, and belt lines, plus cycle counts and maintaining audit records. Flexibility with shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Rare weekend work may be required.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
• Able to work any shift.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to organize/prioritize multiple tasks.
• Valid driver’s license; lift truck certification/license.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures; auditing experience.

Audit various job functions (order selection, splits, shipping, belts, and receiving) and perform physical inventory counts in the Distribution Center. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities

• Model “Customer 1st” behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Audit trailers
• Audit all order fillers, randomly, each week
• Audit shipping, receiving, and belts, randomly
• Audit order filers working in order selection and/or splits
• Perform cycle counts
• Perform inventory responsibilities
• Maintain individual, shift, and warehouse audit records
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work weekends on a rare basis
• Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis
