Kroger Supply Chain in Seymour, IN is seeking a full-time CDL-A driver to transport trailers to and from DC docks for loading, unloading, and storage. You will complete pre-shift checklists and report any defects, while adhering to safety standards and corporate policies.

Flexibility for varied shifts, weekends, and overtime is required. Minimum qualifications include reading comprehension of safety manuals, basic math, and a valid Class A license with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving

Job description

Transport trailers safely to and from the adjoining yard to the distribution center (DC) docks so that product can be loaded, unloaded and stored. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. • Drive truck to transport trailers and to and from DC docks for loading, unloading and storage purposes
• Complete Driver’s Daily Checklist on vehicle prior to starting each shift and report any mechanical defects
• Adhere to corporate, departmental and regulatory operation and safety standards
• Maintain availability to work varied shifts, weekends and overtime
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
