Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Nashville is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead the WHS Strategy team. You will own the strategic planning cycle, develop 1–3 year roadmaps, and prepare operational plans and executive reviews for senior leaders.

You will partner with operations, engineering, and technology to embed safety priorities, govern data reporting, and elevate safety narratives across the board. This leadership role requires clarity, rigor, and executive-level communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Communications, Supply Chain or related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Strategic Planning Lifecycle For WHS, including 1–3 year roadmaps, OP1/OP2, and executive reviews on cadence.
• Synthesize inputs from WHS teams and draft unified, consistent messaging.
• Author and manage WHS executive-level documents with analytical rigor and alignment.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and technology to integrate safety priorities into strategic plans.
• Design and govern reporting mechanisms for safety data leadership, including data lock processes.
• Identify opportunities to modernize safety data visualization for decision-makers.
• Manage enterprise planning calendar and cross-functional inputs globally.
• Translate complex safety programs into clear content for executives and non-specialists.
