Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Organization seeks a Principal Program Manager to lead the WHS Strategy team. You will own the strategic planning cycle and craft the safety narrative for senior executives, including VP, SVP, and Board audiences.

The role requires a strategic leader who communicates complex safety programs with clarity to front-line operators and board members, partnering with operations, engineering, and technology to align safety priorities with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, synthesizing, and integrating strategic inputs from WHS teams, then drafting content into a unified voice.
• Authoring and managing the WHS executive-level documents portfolio with analytical rigor.
• Partnering with operations, engineering, and technology to align safety priorities with strategic plans.
• Designing and governing safety data reporting mechanisms for leadership.
• Identifying opportunities to modernize safety performance data visualization and reporting.
• Managing the enterprise planning calendar with cross-functional inputs globally.
• Translating complex programs into clear content for executive audiences.
