Job summary

Amazon is offering a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) internship designed to give you hands-on experience in safety projects across fulfillment centers. The 10-week, full-time program runs in summer 2027 and will place you in an Amazon Network Distribution Center on-site, with onboarding including OSHA10 and First Aid/CPR.

You will work with WHS teams, research data, present to senior leadership, and may receive a full-time offer based on performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree with an expected completion date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Interest in or previous experience in safety-related employment.
• Strong communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with WHS Teams and other WHS interns on a safety-related project.
• Research, interpret and share data to support a safety-related recommendation for leadership.
• Assist in designing, building, improving, and innovating order fulfillment safety programs and initiatives across Amazon’s fulfillment infrastructure.
• Learn about and collaborate with other functional teams in planning and executing your project.
• Develop and expand your professional network by participating in WHS intern activities and events.
