Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking an Operations Associate (Wholesale Stocking) to support daily material handling in a retail branch. You will assist the Product Lifecycle Manager with receiving, stocking, and presenting products to align with sales and inventory goals.

Full-time position with a stable schedule, no late-night shifts, and opportunities to grow. Prior forklift experience is a plus, and training on pallet jacks and equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or related fields.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to work with teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
• Communicate with Merchandising and Inventory teams to stock products in correct locations
• Coordinate with Product Lifecycle Manager to address operational issues
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged/expired products as needed
• Maintain overall store cleanliness and support location operations

The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
• Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
• Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or other related hospitality fields.
• Prior forklift certification a plus
