Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking an Operations Associate to assist the Product Lifecycle Manager with daily material handling in a retail branch. You will help with receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that support sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

You will perform tasks such as efficient receiving, organizing stock, coordinating with Merchandising and Inventory, rotating stock FIFO, and maintaining store cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
• This role does not require a degree; relevant skills and experience are valued
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkers

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
• Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
• Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
